Summer with Mathnasium

Summer at Mathnasium keeps math skills strong.

The expression "use it or lose it" applies to math knowledge, too. On average, students lose 2.6 months of what they've learned in math class over summer break. Summer at Mathnasium is the answer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions to resolve basic outstanding concerns without speaking to someone.

  • 1. How do I know which program is right for my child?

We recommend starting with a short consultation. We’ll review your child’s grade level, goals, and current math confidence to guide you toward the best-fit program—whether that’s skill building, enrichment, test prep, or focus development.

  • Are full day programs available?

Yes! We partnered with ConnectEd & Inspired to offer Math + Art full day (10am - 4pm) programs. Reach out to learn more!

  • 2. Do students receive individualized attention in summer programs?

Yes. All programs are intentionally structured in small groups. Even within groups, instruction is guided and personalized to ensure students are challenged appropriately and supported where needed.

  • 3. Can my child enroll for just 1–2 weeks?

Absolutely. Many families choose flexible weeks for targeted refresh or enrichment. Longer 8-week options are available for deeper skill development or test preparation.

  • 4. Is there an assessment required before enrolling?

Not required for enrolling. At beginning of program, new students enrolling in skill-based programs may complete a math skills assessment to ensure proper placement. This helps us create a focused and effective learning plan from day one.

  • 5. What makes Mathnasium summer programs different from other camps?

Our programs combine structured math instruction with engagement and creativity. Students don’t just “do worksheets”—they build understanding, confidence, and long-term problem-solving ability in a supportive environment.
