“In today's technologically driven society, math aptitude is incredibly valuable. It’s how we understand patterns, model complex phenomena, and predict events. Having a strong foundation in math opens up so many paths for students later in life. Our goal at Mathnasium is to teach kids genuine foundational understanding of math to set them up for success,” said Will Griffin, Center Director and Owner of Mathnasium of Montgomeryville.
Will brings a robust corporate background to Mathnasium, having developed his analytical and management skills at firms such as PwC, Kraft Heinz, and Nielsen. His passion for math began during his physics studies at Middlebury College and continued to grow as he utilized mathematical principles in data analytics and finance throughout his decade-long career. This inspired him to further his education with an MBA from Cornell University and a Master's in Mathematics from Villanova University. Now, Will is dedicated to sharing the transformative power of math with his community. Outside the center, he enjoys playing tennis, squash, and golf, and expressing his creativity through oil painting.
“I couldn’t think of a better way to impact the community than helping kids improve their math skills,” Will said, emphasizing his commitment to making math accessible and enjoyable. Under Will's leadership, the Mathnasium experience begins with a personalized assessment designed to pinpoint each child’s unique strengths and areas for improvement. Based on the initial assessment, Mathnasium creates a personalized learning plan that is specifically tailored to meet each student's unique needs.
