Q: What makes Mathnasium different from other tutoring centers?
A: The methods that Mathnasium employs to teach concepts are very different and intuitive, and really help students to see problems in a new way. We also have so many ways wherein we make math enjoyable and rewarding for students of all ages.
Q: Why would you encourage parents to consider Mathnasium?
A: Math is a deeply important subject to understand, and it may not be a student's favorite subject, but we will help them excel in whichever grade they are in, as well as, sharpen their real-world problem solving skills. Mathnasium helps them build a more complete and positive experience with math!
Q: How often do students get re-assessed?
A: We typically re-assess students every three months, which gives them time to learn many new skills, as well as, apply things they could be learning in school. If they are showing great mastery and understanding of their learning plan, we often re-assess them more quickly so they can move on to more challenging material.
Q: What kinds of math help does your center/re offer?
A: We start as young as kindergarten material, and we go all the way through calculus. We also offer test preparation for SAT and ACT high school testing.
