Amy graduated from Arizona State University in 2020 and has been working in the education field ever since. She has a strong passion for teaching math in a way that builds true understanding and long-term retention. Amy began her Mathnasium journey as an Assistant Center Director, where she gained extensive experience supporting students on the instructional floor.
When she’s not helping students grow their confidence, Amy enjoys crocheting, playing video games, and spending time with her dog, Koda. She’s excited to continue making a positive impact on students’ math journeys!
Grant is a passionate mathematics instructor! He loves combining his passion for teaching with his dedication to helping students succeed in math. Originally from Florida, Grant and his twin brother Reed both moved to the area, bringing their expertise to the local community. As an instructor, Grant specializes in a range of math topics, from elementary through advanced levels, and is especially experienced in supporting students with homeschooling and personalized learning needs.
Outside of his math expertise, Grant is a huge pizza fan, enjoys the colorful sweetness of Skittles (which he’d happily call a meal), and loves dirt bike riding! He loves relaxing in La Paz, Mexico, his favorite vacation destination. .
Tyler is a student at Pinnacle High School who loves teaching, learning, and the concrete nature of math. He enjoys how math provides clear structure and understanding, making it both engaging and rewarding to explore.
In his free time, Tyler enjoys reading, philosophy, and games—and he’s especially excited about having his driver’s license! He’s looking forward to helping students build confidence and enjoy learning math.
With a passion for math and learning, Reed brought his instruction expertise to Mathnasium of North Scottsdale along with his twin brother Grant. Confident with teaching math up through Calculus BC, Reed loves how math can be abstract while also perfectly describing the world. He wants students to know that math can be fun if you just try it!
Outside of Mathnasium, Reed enjoys riding dirtbikes with his friends. He is a big fan of flamin' hot cheetos and the movie "A Star is Born". He likes to read in his free time and one of his favorite vacation memories is spending time in the sun at the beach!
