Letter from the New Owners of Mathnasium of Nutley

Dear Parent/Guardian:

We hope this message finds you well!

We are excited to introduce ourselves Pooja & Chaitan Chandawalla and Suchi Baggu as the new owners of Mathnasium of Nutley, effective July 1, 2025. As part of our leadership team, Suchi will also serve as the Center Director.

As eloquently as Prat wrote her goodbyes, we want to echo our appreciation for the lasting impact she has had on the Mathnasium of Nutley community. We are also grateful for her generous support during this transition to ensure it is as smooth and seamless as possible. Starting July 1, 2025, we are committed to carrying forward the strong foundation Prat has built. We sincerely wish her all the best in her next chapter.

A little about us: 

As parents and past Nutley residents, we’ve experienced firsthand the importance of strong foundational learning and the role Mathnasium plays in building both Math skills and confidence. It’s that shared passion for education and our love for this community that brought us together to carry forward the great work happening at the center.

We bring a mix of professional and personal experience to our roles. Pooja holds a Bachelor’s in Management from Kean University, Chaitan has an MBA from Baruch College (CUNY) and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Rutgers University, and Suchi holds a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. Alongside careers in corporate and educational settings, we’ve also guided our own children’s learning journeys, which makes this mission deeply personal.

Our commitment is to maintain a warm, encouraging environment where math makes sense and where every student can thrive. With a dedicated team and a shared vision, we’ll continue to deliver the high-quality Mathnasium experience your family has come to know and trust.

While we are already making some connections with students in the coming weeks we will be reaching out to you to learn about what your experience has been thus far and how we can collaborate to make it even better.
