• Where is Mathnasium of Oak Creek located?

  Mathnasium of Oak Creek is located at 7960 S Main St, Oak Creek, WI 53154, in the heart of Drexel Town Square. The center is surrounded by retail stores, restaurants, shops, apartments, City Hall, and the library. We have ample parking on the east side of the building, making it convenient for families. There is plenty for parents to do while their child spends an hour at Mathnasium.

• Do you offer online tutoring?

  Yes, Mathnasium of Oak Creek offers both in-center and online tutoring. Whether attending sessions in person or online, all our students receive personalized, face-to-face instruction in a supportive group environment delivered by the same caring tutors.

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No, the quality of instruction remains consistent across both formats. Students attending online receive the same personalized learning plans and face-to-face tutoring as they would at the center.

• What math classes can your Oak Creek tutors help with?

  We help students learn and master any math class or topic from kindergarten through high school, including arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, and more advanced subjects.

  We offer math-only tutoring through a flat monthly membership. Most students attend 2–3 sessions per week. Following a diagnostic assessment, we design a personalized learning plan with a recommended session frequency to support your child’s goals.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring at Mathnasium of Oak Creek?

  No, membership pricing is the same whether students attend sessions online, in person, or through a hybrid format.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment at Mathnasium of Oak Creek?

  Students begin their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment with a diagnostic assessment to identify the student’s current skill level, learning gaps, and academic goals. We use these insights to create a personalized learning plan tailored to their needs.

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Oak Creek, we do not follow a fixed curriculum. We use the Mathnasium Method™—our proprietary teaching approach that pairs personalized learning plans with proven instructional techniques and face-to-face tutoring in an engaging group environment.  

  Our approach builds on what each student already knows, gradually introducing new concepts and breaking them into manageable steps while helping them develop lasting confidence and math skills. 

• Do you work with advanced students or with students who are struggling with math?

  Yes! We support students of all skill levels.  

  Students who need help catching up receive targeted, personalized support focused on developing foundational skills and confidence to catch up and even get ahead on their math journey. Advanced learners benefit from enrichment programs designed to challenge their thinking and deepen their math understanding. 

• Do you work with homeschooled students in Oak Creek?

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

  No, all instruction and learning take place during sessions at the center or online. We do not assign additional homework, allowing students to focus and make progress while with us.

• Do you prepare students for standardized tests?

  Yes. We help students prepare for school-based and standardized math tests, including state assessments, ACT®, and SAT®. Our prep includes personalized learning plans, targeted practice, and strategies designed to build both math skills and test-taking confidence.
