Specially Trained and Caring Team
Melanie May
Assistant Center Director
Melanie is the Assistant Center Director and has worked at Mathnasium for nearly three years. This fall, she will begin studying actuarial science at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, with plans to become a certified actuary and enlist in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. She believes students learn best when they understand the “why” behind the math, not just how to get the right answer.
Inspired by her mother, a teacher, Melanie brings caring guidance and energy to her work. She enjoys singing, playing instruments, beatboxing, building Legos, and solving puzzles.
Sara Le
Lead Instructor
Sara is a senior at Oak Creek High School and will attend Marquette University in the fall of 2025. She has worked at Mathnasium for nearly three years and hopes to become an orthodontist. Sara loves building relationships with students and helping them become more confident in math.
She takes pride in her ability to problem-solve and adapt her teaching style to each individual learner. Outside of work, Sara is on the swim and dive team, participates in National Honor Society and Science Bowl, and enjoys sewing, baking, and playing video games.
Kaliope Morgan
Instructor
Hi! My name is Kaliope Morgan! I currently attend Oak Creek High School and I am a Junior. I plan on attending either Madison, UChicago, Columbia, or Yale for political science. I want to be a politician and musician on the side but my biggest goal is to be the President of the United States. I am a beginner piano teacher as well, so I have worked with students and use teaching skills frequently. I enjoy a variety of clubs outside of work. I ran cross country and track for a while! I am also involved in theatre, band, and choir. Additionally I am a National Honor Society member, was elected governor at Bager Girls State, the current Distinguished Young Woman of Oak Creek and the Distinguished Young Woman of Wisconsin for the class of 2026!
My favorite math joke: Did you know that there are three kinds of people in the world? The people who can count and the people who can’t.
