Q: Tell me about how Mathnasium improves a student's attitude in Math.
A: Confidence is huge. Kids whose education has centered around memorization of facts tend to get anxious and "freeze up" on school tests when they see something they don't recognize or haven't memorized. By showing students how to connect various concepts together, we give them the skill of being able to approach these sorts of nontrivial questions with an "I can" attitude instead of "I can't."
