Bella Middleton

Lead Instructor
Miss Bella is a recent graduate from Columbia College in Chicago. She has a BA in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Arts Management. She is the middle of 3 sisters, who all graduated from Dunlap High School in 2012, 2018, and 2020 respectively. She went to the state math tournament twice while attending Dunlap. Miss Bella loves to read, play with makeup, and play video games in her very little spare time. Her favorite shape is a sphere because no matter how you look at it, it is perfectly symmetrical.

Madeline Friend

Lead Instructor
Miss Madeline is a recent Illinois State University graduate with a degree in Middle Level Education with math and science endorsements. One of her favorite parts about teaching and tutoring is watching students get to that "ah-ha" moment when they finally understand a topic that they have been working on. She enjoys traveling, watching soccer amongst other television shows, and spending time with family and friends. She is currently teaching in a middle school in the Pekin School district. Miss Madeline is the oldest of two, with a younger sister and has pet rabbit named Lily that occupies her free time.

Heather Smith

Lead Instructor
Ms. Heather graduated from Judson University in 2013 with a BA in Mathematics. She has been tutoring high school students in math since 2011. Miss Heather taught math for one year in a high school classroom, and has been working as a paraprofessional in the Dunlap School District since 2015. She enjoys participating in productions with Corn Stock Theater and has previously studied abroad at Harlaxton Manor in England for a semester while in college. Her favorite shape is the heart because she doodles them on everything and they usually bring a smile to the faces of others and make them feel loved/cared for.

Landen Sale

Instructor
Mr. Landen is currently attending Illinois Central College (ICC) and majoring in Computer Science. He has taken math classes all the way through Calc 3 and tutored students at ICC in their peer tutoring program for 2 years. He feels most proud of his FRC robotics team, Argos 1756, that went to the national competition three years in a row. Mr. Landen loves to play Pokemon and Yu-Gi-oh! card games in his free time. He has two older dogs at home, but loves all animals. His favorite shape is the triangle because it is structurally strong and useful for solving problems geometrically.

Hannah Srinivasan

Instructor
Miss Hannah is a senior at Richwoods High School in the IB program. She intends to major in Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience in college. She has previous worked as a leader in math camp and taught students from many grade levels through Calc 1. She went to the IDTA state competition for dance with her high school dance team the Royalettes. Fun fact about Miss Hannah, she lived in Belgium for five years. Her favorite shape is the pyramid because she thinks they are cool.

Taseen Karim

Lead Instructor
Mr. Taseen is currently attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is majoring in Computer Engineering. He has taken math classes all the way through Calc 2 during his academic career. He is proud of the fact that he learned how to wire a vending machine. He has many interests, but is into power-lifting. His favorite shape is the rectangle because they are used in Calculus.

Spencer Alphonso

Instructor
Mr. Spencer is currently attending Bradley University and is majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a Biomedical concentration and has taken math courses through Calc 3. He has earned the rank of Eagle Scout and was on the tennis and swim team in high school. He has 3 cats and his favorite shape is the circle.

Sid Saxena

Instructor
Mr. Sid is currently a student at Bradley University majoring in Chemistry with a pre-med concentration and is dual majoring in Philosophy. He has taken math courses up through Calc 2. He was on the all-state tennis team in 2019 and he has a twin brother. His favorite shape is the hexagon because they are symmetrical and can be found all over the place in nature.

Damien Olar

Instructor
Mr. Damien is currently a student at Illinois Central College (ICC) and is studying HVAC/R. He was previously a Mathnasium student and enjoyed Mathnasium so much that he came to work here after he graduated high school. He is most proud of the understanding he has gained about electrical systems and equipment and he can build a computer. His favorite shape is the dodecahedron because it has a really cool name.
