Center Director
Justin holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and has been with Mathnasium for two years. He enjoys helping students discover that math can be both challenging and fun in a supportive environment.
His favorite number is 52 factorial, representing the number of ways to shuffle a deck of cards. Outside of work, Justin enjoys playing board games, listening to music, and building computers—including the one in his office!

Assistant Director
Zack is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science through Western Governors University. A lifelong Potomac resident, he loves working with students and making math approachable and fun.
His favorite numbers are 5 and 8, and he’s known for using exactly that many cloves of garlic in his cooking. Zack enjoys hiking, tinkering with home servers, and gardening. He speaks English, some Mandarin, and is learning Korean.

Michael is a student at Winston Churchill High School with plans to study Mathematics, Engineering, or Finance in college. He enjoys helping students grasp challenging math concepts in a supportive environment.

Ryan is an 11th grader at Walt Whitman High School considering a future in chemical engineering or computer science. He enjoys making math fun and relatable for students of all ages.
His favorite number is 8, a nod to both Alex Ovechkin and its status as a doubly even number. Ryan loves cooking, working out, and cheering on DC sports teams. Favorite joke? “19 and 20 got into an argument… 21!”

Yes! Mathnasium of Potomac offers both in-center and online tutoring. Whether students attend online or in person, they receive face-to-face instruction from our specially trained tutors in a supportive and engaging group environment that encourages learning and growth.
