This place is truly anxiety,- nerves-, fights,- and self-esteem-saver for our daughter after her wacky years of public school and Providence Academy math. Ms. Jing is always very responsive to my e-mails, looks out for the best interests of the students, and is always very helpful floating around and assisting teachers and students during class time. That lady is on top of things! It's a well-run place and academic improvement is evident in my child's school test-taking scores. I highly recommend this place.

Our daughter has been in the Mathnasium curriculum in Purcellville VA for approximately eight months. Madison's math skills have dramatically improved including her anxiety for learning. The instructors and management are excellent. They communicate well, give updates on the progress of our daughter and are extremely professional. Madison feels very comfortable with the staff and program. Her grades in math have gone from almost failing to a B+ this past quarter. I would highly recommend Mathnasium, any child struggling with the concept of math can succeed in this program. The rates are also very affordable. Mathnasium of Purcellville is an exceptional quality tutoring center. The price tag is a little high, but in contrast to what this place can do for its customers, I'd very seriously say it's worth it. As a college student enrolled in a STEM field--E for Engineering, specifically--I've found that this location is absolutely wonderful at teaching all forms of math. I struggled in Pre-Calculus quite a bit a few years back, and when I finally committed to scheduled tutoring, the first thing they gave me was a placement test, meant to show where my strengths and weaknesses lay and to structure my sessions accordingly. Turns out, I was missing EVERYTHING since Algebra. The regimen this location uses is EXTREMELY personalized, to the point where the employees remember your name, what you were working on, what you were struggling with--things you wouldn't even think about yourself they have down to a science. There's a binder that they assign to you, holding all of your paperwork, the things you need to work on next, but if you need to hammer out a teacher's own homework regimen they won't hesitate to go off the rails to help you better succeed in that class, even going so far as to teach you more than what's required for THOSE. I've recently passed a college Calculus 2 course with the help of these people, and the extent of their knowledge about higher math doesn't even stop there. Working closely with some of the instructors here, at every level of my education I've been constantly introduced to concepts at least two steps above where I currently was. I routinely see children as young as 12 get introduced to things like integrals as passing conversation. Highly recommend this place. If you view it as an investment, it's a terrific one, because yes, you'll learn how to do the problems, but you'll also learn how to think beyond just what's on the page.

My experience here at mathnasium was great! I came to this facility to get extra help on the math section of the SAT. I got lots of one on one attention and was able to increase my score overall on the SAT, thank you mathnasium!
