STEAM Festival at Willow Grove Elementary – A Celebration of Innovation and Learning
On May 29, Willow Grove Elementary School buzzed with excitement as students, families, and community members gathered for the much-anticipated STEAM Festival. The event was a vibrant showcase of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, highlighting the school’s commitment to hands-on, interdisciplinary learning.
Among the many interactive exhibits and activities, Mathnasium stood out as a crowd favorite. Representing the “M” in STEAM, Mathnasium engaged students with fun, thought-provoking math challenges designed to spark curiosity and boost confidence in mathematical thinking. Their station offered games and puzzles that encouraged problem-solving skills and demonstrated how math connects to everyday life.
The festival also featured robotics demonstrations, art installations, coding stations, and science experiments, all hosted by various local organizations and student groups. It was a night of discovery and inspiration, reinforcing the importance of creativity and critical thinking in education.
