STEAM Night at Deer Canyon Elementary School Brings Science and Creativity to Life
On April 25, Deer Canyon Elementary School hosted its highly anticipated STEAM Night, an engaging evening that celebrated science, technology, engineering, art, and math through hands-on activities and interactive exhibits. Students and their families came together to explore a variety of stations designed to spark curiosity and foster a love of learning. Mathnasium of Rancho PQ were among the many generous sponsors of the event. Together, we all partnered with our local school to provide and showcase the importance and fun factor of science, technology, engineering arts and math.
The event emphasized collaboration, innovation, and fun, leaving attendees excited about the possibilities of STEAM education. Deer Canyon’s STEAM Night proved once again that learning can be both educational and entertaining when creativity and curiosity take the lead.
Thank you to Ms Jamie Harries STEAM Teacher at Deer Canyon Elementary School for once again inviting us to be your partner in this endeavour. We truly enjoy seeing the many happy faces math can bring about each and every child in our community.
As part of this memorable night, we received some heartfelt letters from the students of Deer Canyon, sharing their favorite moments and what they loved most about STEAM Night. Their words remind us why we love supporting events that inspire curiosity and confidence in young learners. Be sure to check them out below — their enthusiasm is contagious!
