Beatrice earned her degree in East Asian Languages and Cultures with a minor in Business from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She began her career in Silicon Valley, working for nine years in Account and Program Management roles at education-focused startups.
While volunteering with Healthy Cities Tutoring in San Carlos, Beatrice discovered a deep passion for teaching math. Her success tutoring students across Redwood City and San Carlos led her to open her own Mathnasium center. Beatrice is committed to helping children build confidence and understanding in math—because she believes fluency in math unlocks a child’s full potential.

Yes! Mathnasium of Redwood City offers both in-center and online tutoring. Students can attend live, face-to-face sessions either online or in person, working with the same specially trained tutors they would meet at our center.
No. The students who choose to attend sessions online will receive the same personalized face-to-face instruction in a supportive group environment as they would at our Redwood City center.
We support students in grades Pre-K–12 with everything from early arithmetic to Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and advanced high school math.
We also help students prepare for standardized tests like the SAT®, ACT®, and school-based assessments. Our goal is to build a deep understanding of math and lasting confidence at every grade level.
We offer a flat monthly enrollment fee along with a one-time start-up fee at the beginning of the program. Families can choose a flexible month-to-month option or commit to a longer-term plan at a discounted rate. Most students benefit from attending 2–3 sessions per week. We recommend starting with a free assessment to determine the best plan for your child.
