Cory holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Averett University and is a graduate of Salem High School in Salem, Virginia. Before opening his Mathnasium center, he worked in the financial services industry, where he developed strong problem-solving skills and a love for numbers.
Passionate about making math accessible, Cory is dedicated to helping children in the Roanoke Valley learn math in a way that makes sense. He is excited to share the Mathnasium Method™ and show students how math can be both understandable and fun.
Beth earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Spanish from Virginia Tech after graduating from Roanoke Catholic School. She spent her professional career in customer support and corporate training for an educational software company, gaining valuable experience in education-focused environments.
As a parent, Beth understands the importance of keeping children engaged in learning and is passionate about supporting their education. She looks forward to welcoming families to Mathnasium and helping students build confidence and success through the Mathnasium Method™.
Chanhong earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Asian Pacific American Studies and a Master of Teaching in Elementary Education from the University of Virginia. A Martinsville High School graduate, she was also a member of her high school math team, sparking her love of problem-solving.
Her background in education and enthusiasm for learning drive her passion for helping students succeed. At Mathnasium, she enjoys guiding students to approach math with confidence and curiosity while fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment.
