Our teen attends mathnasium every summer! It’s great preparation for the year to come. Ever since starting mathnasium, math is a lot easier during the school year. The staff here are fantastic and usually kids who have attended in past years. They have fun activities like games and making slime! My teen loves it!

After a challenging junior year of math our son started sessions with Mathnasium last August at the Mount Pleasant location. What a positive impact they’ve had on his overall proficiency. Their approach of starting at his highest level of full understanding and building from there allowed him to work at his own pace and truly understand the concepts before progressing to the next topic. The tutor was great and their structure was very accommodating of his practice and competition obligations. He went from struggling to getting an A in Statistics this year, and has much more confidence in his abilities. Because of their support he placed into college level math and won’t require remedial classes - that alone offsets the cost of the program. Highly recommended.

My child has been attending Mathnasium in Sparks location for a month now. Her mathematic performance is continuing to improve during this summer. We love all tutors who are very attentive and patient with my child who used to think that math was the most difficult subject for her. I like the way that they guide her to solve the problem on her own without pushing her too hard. She is willing to try without giving up. They also allow her to stay as long as she would like to and finish the mastery check of a topic when she can. Monthly payment process is smooth and convenient and scheduling is flexible. When we need to take a week or two off for vacation, we are allowed to hold off our monthly payment until we are back in town to continue the session. Mathnasium is an excellent resource both for kids who need extra support in Math and for those who are advanced and cannot get all the extra resources from school. Having a tutor who not only guides and teaches new points but also challenges the kids is excellent! They also support with homework and tests. During the pandemic they turned classes virtual and are extremely flexible. Their team is really amazing!

I was very nervous that our 9 YO daughter would HATE going to Mathnasium because she gets 'bored' easily and has trouble taking feedback. But to my surprise, she loves her instructors and always looks forward to her sessions. She skips happily into the facility and excitedly tells me about her time there afterwards. The reward program keeps her motivated without being over the top. We love it and would highly recommend!
