Every year on March 14th, math lovers around the world celebrate Pi Day (3.14)! This year, Mathnasium centers across the greater Richmond area and Pembroke, VA took the celebration to the next level with four incredible Pi Day Parties at our Midlothian, Pembroke, Short Pump, and Tuckahoe locations.
Students from Richmond, Chesterfield, Mechanicsville, and Virginia Beach came together to explore the wonders of pi, play interactive math games, and indulge in delicious pizza pie. But the fun didn’t stop there—some lucky students even got to pie a staff member for an extra laugh!
One of the biggest highlights of the event was our Pi Day Charity Contest, where students worked together to raise money for a good cause. A special congratulations to our Short Pump team, who took home the win! Thanks to the generosity of our amazing students and families, we are thrilled to announce that we will be donating over $1,000 to the Richmond SPCA at the end of the month.
Events like these remind us that math is more than just numbers—it’s about community, fun, and making a difference. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an unforgettable Pi Day! We can’t wait to celebrate again next year.
