Jefferson M
Lead Instructor
Jefferson is currently a Junior at SUNY Stony Brook pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Physics. He's always had an affinity for math and science so those are naturally his favorite subjects. When he's not in class you could probably find him somewhere on the South shore fishing with friends or at home fiddling with his clarinet, a passion he has decided to revive again as of recent. But, of course, with all that said he is always ready to assist in helping students be engaged and find passion in learning.
Gabrielle S
Instructor
Gabrielle, or Gabby for short, is an alumna from Kellenberg Memorial High School where her love of math grew. She has her bachelor’s in Mathematics from Xavier University, class of 2022. Recently, she has graduated from Relay Graduate School of Education where she received both her Master’s in Secondary Math Education and her High School Teaching Certification. She teaches PreCalculus, Calculus and AP Calculus AB at Achievement First Brooklyn High School. When she is not teaching or doing math for fun, she enjoys reading, writing, swimming and traveling. She has been to eleven different countries. Her goal as a teacher is to get her students to love math as much as she does and help them truly understand the beauty of math.
Alex C
Instructor
Alex is a Walt Whitman graduate and an alumnus of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics. He has always had a natural ability for math: placing first in the Suffolk County Math Competition in tenth grade, and being elected President of Whitman’s Mathletes Club as a senior. He was accepted into the Institute of Creative Problem Solving for Gifted and Talented Students in tenth and eleventh grades, an exclusive club for children and teenagers that explores topics of mathematics beyond what is taught in school.
As a teaching assistant in college, Alex brought his love and passion for math to hundreds of college students in various fields, and hopes to share the excitement of math with the students here in Mathnasium.

Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. Pricing varies by program and geographic area. Contact our center for more details on enrollment packages.
