  Mathnasium of Spokane North is at 9996 N. Newport Highway, in the Northpointe Shopping Plaza right next door to Safeway. With convenient parking and a family-friendly environment, drop-off and pick-up are stress-free for busy families. 

  We proudly serve students throughout North Spokane, Colbert, and Mead. Local schools include:

• Do you offer online tutoring?

  Yes, Mathnasium of Spokane North provides both in-center and online tutoring. Students experience face-to-face instruction in a supportive, engaging group environment, whether attending remotely or in person.

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No, students attending online receive the same personalized learning plans, caring support, and quality of real-time face-to-face interaction as those in the center. The quality and results remain consistent across both delivery methods.

• What math classes can your Spokane North tutors help with?

  We help students learn and master any math class or topic for grades K–12 and college-level math. That includes arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, and more advanced courses. 

  Our specially trained tutors customize learning plans to help students build solid foundational skills, improve academic performance, and develop confidence in math.

  We offer premium value math-only tutoring through a flat monthly membership. Most students attend 2–3 sessions per week. After the diagnostic assessment, we’ll design a personalized learning plan with a recommended session schedule to support your student’s goals.

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring costs?

  No, membership pricing is the same whether students attend online, in person, or combined.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment at Mathnasium of Spokane North?

  At Mathnasium, students begin the enrollment process with a diagnostic assessment designed to help us understand their current skill level and academic goals. This enables us to create a highly individualized learning plan that addresses their unique needs.

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Spokane North, we use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary approach that combines personalized learning plans with proven teaching techniques and face-to-face instruction in an engaging group format.

  Yes, our tutors set aside time during sessions to help students work through their math homework and ensure they truly understand the concepts they’re studying in school.

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

  No, all learning happens during our sessions, whether online or in the center. We do not assign extra homework, allowing students to focus fully on making progress while with us.

• Do you prepare students for standardized tests?

  Yes, we support students preparing for a wide range of math assessments including school-based tests, state exams, SAT®, and ACT®. Our test prep program includes personalized learning plans, targeted practice, and strategies to build math skills and test-taking confidence.
