Q: What was your initial impression of Mathnasium?
A: Initially, I wasn't sure if my son would get the individualized attention he needs to feel confident. The staff quickly found ways to build a relationship with my son that would help boost his confidence, and motivated him when he was frustrated to do the hard work.
Q: How has Mathnasium changed your child’s experience with math?
A: My son is making gains in number sense that would not have grown without this implicit and systematic instruction. By closing those gaps with number sense, he can tackle grade level standards and gain confidence in his work!
Q: Has anything surprised you about Mathnasium?
A: The staff do not give up on him, even when he's quick to give up on himself. We took a break for several months, and my son asked to come back! He knew he was struggling and that the staff had his back!
Q: What is your favorite result from Mathnasium?
A: Self-confidence and having a positive math attitude! He's demonstrating stronger math fact fluency and it shows in school. School can't go back years and close holes he had in concepts, fluency and number sense like Mathnasium does!
