So, Chelsea Craig, What is your favorite thing to do in the city where your center is located? A: There's so many cool things to do in Spokane - it depends on the season! In fall, I LOVE to go to Greenbluff and get cider and donuts. In the winter, you can ski on Mt. Spokane. In the spring, you can do Bloomsday. Summer is my favorite though - I try to hang out at the Pend Oreille River as much as possible!
What is your favorite Mathnasium success story? A: It was our one of our students that won the 2022 Mathnasium Ad Creation contest and she got a $1000 prize!! Her mom told me that she was SO nervous to record herself but the commercial was fantastic - we were all so proud of her. It was unbelievably touching to have a student who literally wants to tell the WORLD how much she loved Mathnasium and how much it helped her!!
Where’s your favorite place to eat? A: Ferraro's on Division.... oh man I have to convince myself to NOT stop on my drive home every time.
What’s your favorite kind of math? A: I love converting between fractions, decimals and percents. I think it's so cool that every fraction has a decimal and a percent. It's so consistent!
What do you like the most about the Mathnasium Method? A: I've seen the Mathnasium Method work amazingly for so many students over the last 4 years - I really wish I had something like this when I was growing up. I did well in math when I was younger, but it was a lot of effort for me. Having more tools to break things up into smaller, easier steps really does work!
