Mathnasium of Spokane South: Keep Learning. Keep Growing. This Summer!

Jul 15, 2026 | Spokane South

Q1: What types of progress have you seen students make this summer?

A1:
This summer we've seen students go from struggling with the concepts they faced last year to feeling confident in them and starting the foundations for next year. We've gotten to brush up on our geometry skills, learn how to break problems down into manageable pieces, and practice our multiplication and division skills. We've seen students who previously hated or feared math start to love it and want to do more math at home!

Q2: How does your center help students stay motivated and engaged during the summer months?

A2:
We help students stay engaged and motivated by having engaging theme weeks, summer punch cards that reward them for coming in, and opportunities to earn bonus stars in-center.

Q3: Why is summer such a valuable time for building confidence in math?

A3:
Summer is a great time to build confidence in math. Students are less worried about school and get extra time to practice the skills they struggled with during the school year. This consistent practice helps them not only gain confidence in their math skills but also in their ability to conquer challenges and overcome obstacles.
