Q: Tell us why you enrolled your child at Mathnasium?

A: Math is hard for him, and he needs help building knowledge but also confidence in the subject. His teacher at Franklin, Mrs. Gadau, suggested Mathnasium. -JH

Q: What changes have you noticed in your child since enrolling them at Mathnasium?

A: Our child has gained loads of confidence and is truly excited to tackle math. She loves the set up; staying organized through the use of a personalized binder with a Mathnasium plan tailored for her. If she’s not bringing in homework to tackle, she’s excited to work towards her goals of mastering different skills. I’ve noticed a more independent approach to tackle her math homework and less stress before math quizzes at school. She’s approaching math with an exuberance we wish we had when we were younger. -MR

Q: What difference have you seen in your child’s grades or test scores?

A: My child had struggled in math for years. His lack of skills had been pushed under the carpet until middle school when he failed. He needed remedial skills and confidence. Since enrolling, my child passes math classes, and has confidence that he can learn math. - MD

Q: Did you like doing math homework with your student? Do the instructors at Mathnasium help your child with homework now?

A: Math homework was hard. We didn't understand some of the methods being taught. Mathnasium was able to help with that, and they help Oakley with his homework when we bring it in. Overall, it has made a big improvement in Oakley's skill and confidence in math, as well as, other areas in school. -LW
