Mathnasium Turlock Hosts Monthly Chess Night for Students

Mathnasium of Turlock, the math-only learning center, is hosting a chess night for students of all ages on Friday, March 31st. The event will take place from 5 - 7:30 pm at the Mathnasium center located at 2842 Geer Road, Turlock in the Raley's Shopping Center.

This free event will provide an opportunity for students to come together and play chess, a game that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills. The event is open to both Mathnasium students and non-students, and all skill levels are welcome.

"We are excited to host a chess night for students in our community," said Ramona Eshagh, the center director of Mathnasium. "Chess is a game that aligns with our mission of developing critical thinking skills in students. We believe that this event will provide a fun and engaging way for students to develop their strategic thinking abilities."

In addition to playing chess, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about Mathnasium's unique approach to math education, which focuses on helping students develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts through customized learning plans and one-on-one instruction.

The event is free, but registration is recommended. To register, please call 209-348-6284 or email [email protected]
