With over a decade of experience in education, Ronak Patel Ph.D. brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for teaching mathematics. As a former high school teacher and university instructor , Ronak has seen firsthand the transformative power of math in students' lives. He is dedicated to helping students develop confidence in their math skills, believing that math is not only a subject but a tool that explains the world around us. Ronak's approach focuses on showing students that math is everywhere—they just have to look for it! Whether it's solving a complex equation or understanding everyday patterns, Ronak is excited to help students unlock the potential of math and see its relevance in their daily lives.

Amanda is a former middle school math teacher that can’t seem to get the “teaching bug” out of her system. Her favorite subject to teach is Algebra! She believes that encouraging students to take risks and learning through making mistakes, helps to build confidence in their mathematical abilities! She loves to see the growth in the students and how they apply what they have learned at Mathnasium to new math concepts.
Natalie Suthard

Natalie is a junior at Urbana High School who loves math and helping kids. She hopes to help kids gain a love for math and create stronger problem solving skills. She believes math is a large part of the world and hopes to help children understand math to make their lives better and easier. She not only enjoys helping kids learn math, but she enjoys connecting and learning about each and every student that comes to the center. Outside of Mathnasium, Natalie plays soccer at Urbana, enjoys going to sports games, interns at a local elementary school, and likes to play games with her family.
Tyler Feemster
Instructor
Tyler is a recent graduate from Princeton University with a degree in mathematics. As a dedicated tutor at Mathnasium, he excels at making difficult concepts feel natural and intuitive, helping students build a strong foundation. He loves finding opportunities to extend students' knowledge with small challenges and thought-provoking questions. Outside of tutoring, Tyler enjoys lifting weights and exploring interesting math problems.

Marco is a recent graduate from University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. He also holds an associate's degree in mechanical engineering. He has a deep passion for mathematics and enjoys teaching others in hopes that they too might find it fun and challenging. He listens well to questions from students, offering clear and detailed explanations to help students grasp concepts. Outside of Mathnasium, Marco enjoys listening to music, gaming, exercising, and cooking!

Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout.
