Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Amy

Lead Instructor

Amy is delighted to join the Mathnasium team, and we are equally excited to welcome her! After an incredible 32-year career teaching 3rd grade in the DC Everest District, Amy brings a wealth of experience, patience, and joy to our center. Her lifelong passion for helping children grow and succeed makes her a perfect fit for Mathnasium’s mission.

Outside the classroom, Amy treasures time with her three grandchildren. She is an avid reader and loves getting lost in a good book.  She also loves exploring the great outdoors - whether hiking local trails or discovering new adventures in our National Parks with her husband and their dogs.

We are thrilled to have Amy’s expertise, energy, and heart enriching our Mathnasium family!

Her experience at local children’s museums sparked her passion for helping kids learn through curiosity and play. At Mathnasium, Aspen combines her friendly nature and diverse interests to support students as they build confidence in their math skills and discover their own strengths.

Ty

Instructor

We are thrilled to welcome Ty, a graduate from D.C. Everest IDEA Charter School, to our Mathnasium team! Ty has discovered a true passion for teaching math, and his enthusiasm shines through in everything he does. This fall, he will take the next step in his journey as a math educator at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, bringing his dedication and energy to a whole new level.

Ty's commitment to sharing his love of math and helping others tackle tough concepts is truly inspiring. He makes learning engaging and rewarding for students, and we're confident he'll be an exceptional guide for our Mathletes.

Outside of the classroom, Ty knows how to bring the fun! Whether it's games or sports with friends and family, his competitive spirit and love of teamwork make every activity memorable. A seasoned cross-country runner and an impressive winter curler, Ty thrives in team environments where challenges push him to excel.

Aaron

Instructor

Aaron is a software engineer at Skyward, Inc., where he has worked since 2020. He has always loved teaching - whether in professional settings, personal projects, or academic environments. In high school, his mother was his math teacher, giving him both inspiration and extra support to excel in the subject.

Aaron brings that same encouragement to Mathnasium. He enjoys helping students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and discover that math can be empowering. Outside of work, Aaron enjoys walking local trails, going to the gym, and playing video games, especially Super Smash Bros.

Kameron

Instructor

Kameron is a student at Wausau West High School and brings a positive, encouraging presence to our Mathnasium team. He enjoys playing volleyball, going fishing, and making music on both the piano and guitar. As the oldest of four brothers, he’s a natural leader who’s patient, responsible, and great with kids.

Kameron is also actively involved in his church community and loves opportunities to help others learn and grow. We’re grateful to have his enthusiasm and kindness in the center.
