I know first hand how stressful any big test can be, especially when your GPA or graduation depends on getting a passing score.
Through my research into human-animal interactions, I learned that there are many studies where animals have been brought to study session to ease stress, which also leads to higher scores on tests!
I decided that I wanted to incorporate this into a midterm study event at Mathnasium of Westchase!
On Friday, December 15th, students were invited to participate in a free midterm study session which included play time with kittens! I partnered with a local non-profit organization, A Kitten Place, to bring these little cuties to the center. Watch their video on their Facebook page here!
Because of the success with this event, I look forward to inviting A Kitten Place back to our center for future events! Be on the lookout for additional study sessions (FREE to the public!) with added stress-relief through playing with kittens.
