Darren
Instructor
I grew up in Parker and still love living in Colorado! Mathnasium is the perfect fit for me because it combines my passion for math with helping others. I enjoy making math more approachable and helping students build confidence in their skills.
Outside of Mathnasium, I love playing and watching sports, spending time outdoors, and playing board games with family and friends. My favorite number is 24 because of its many factors, and a fun fact about me—I used to race cars as a kid! In five years, I see myself working as an engineer and using my math skills every day.
Jaydeen
Instructor
About me: I am a student at Regis Jesuit High School where I love hanging out with my friends, playing varsity soccer, and participating with our mock trial program! In my free time, I enjoy reading and watching movies which often inspires my writing and portrait drawing. While my evenings are usually spent at club soccer practices, I try to make time for playing the piano, running trails, archery, and baking sweets for my family! I’m hoping to continue playing soccer in college too!
Why I love working at Mathnasium: I love working at Mathnasium because I get to help students build their confidence in math and witness their “aha” moments! It is such a rewarding experience as the kids find their passion for problem solving and build upon the lessons which they can use in their everyday lives.
Favorite number My favorite number is 99 because of a children’s show my sister and I used to watch that we really enjoyed and bonded over.
Fun fact about myself I have a husky named Echo who I love taking on early morning runs and hikes!
In 5 years I’ll be…. I’m not entirely sure where I’ll be in five years, but I plan on going to college out of state and following a pre-law track!
