Co-owner/Centre Director
Yetunde is the Co-Owner and Centre Director of Mathnasium of Airdrie, bringing more than 30 years of teaching experience across elementary, high school, and college education. She holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Greenwich, UK,
Throughout her career, Yetunde has been dedicated to helping students develop confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. Her experience includes teaching mathematics in a specialized school in the United Kingdom and supporting children and families as a child counsellor with CASA Mental Health in Alberta.
Passionate about making math meaningful and accessible, Yetunde believes every child can succeed when learning is personalized, encouraging, and engaging. She is committed to building strong mathematical foundations while nurturing resilience, self-confidence, and a growth mindset in every student. Through her caring approach, she strives to ensure that each child feels supported, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Sumathi is the Assistant Centre Director at Mathnasium of Airdrie and a dedicated mathematics educator. She holds an M.Phil. in Mathematics and earned a gold medal for academic achievement. With a strong commitment to learning, she plans to pursue her PhD and continue growing her expertise in the field.
Sumathi believes math success comes from both skill-building and confidence. She creates a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and develop strong problem-solving habits through personalized, engaging instruction.
Funmi Agunlejika PhD

Funmi is a highly experienced instructor with a PhD and a strong STEM background, bringing both academic expertise and a passion for teaching to Mathnasium of Airdrie. Seyi Asa is a Systems Engineer-in-Training with a First-Class MEng (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering and over five years of experience tutoring mathematics to students preparing for 11+, GCSE, and A-Level examinations.
