Mathnasium of Moncton's personalized math test prep programs are built around each student's unique needs, helping students in grades 1-12 close knowledge gaps, sharpen their skills, and walk into any math exam fully prepared.
Following personalized learning plans, our tutors help students in grades 1-12 master the concepts behind every upcoming quiz, unit test, and final exam. From elementary math through Precalculus and beyond, we target the exact skills each student needs so that classroom exams become an opportunity to demonstrate what they truly know.
We align instruction with the New Brunswick Mathematics Curriculum to prepare students for the math portions of the New Brunswick Provincial Assessment (NBPA). By identifying each student's knowledge gaps and building understanding level by level, we help students approach their provincial assessment with the skills and confidence needed to meet and exceed grade-level expectations.
At Mathnasium of Moncton, our specially trained math tutors help students in grades 1-12 prepare for any math exam, from classroom quizzes and exams to provincial assessments.
We work with students in a caring and fun group environment, providing personalized, face-to-face instruction that focuses on genuine understanding. Our tutors pinpoint each student's knowledge gaps, introduce concepts in a logical sequence, and guide them steadily forward so they feel prepared and capable when exam day arrives.
We use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that combines assessment-based personalized learning plans with proven interactive techniques to build the mathematical understanding students need to perform well on any exam.
Rather than drilling test-taking tactics, our tutors help students truly grasp the concepts they'll be tested on. Paired with proprietary test prep materials, this approach develops the problem-solving skills and confidence that lead to meaningful, lasting improvement.
Students begin their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment that helps us pinpoint their current skill level, knowledge gaps, and exam goals. Using these insights, we design a personalized learning plan that targets exactly what each student needs to work on.
Tutors follow each plan closely, reinforcing understanding and introducing new material gradually. As students build skills and fill knowledge gaps, their confidence grows alongside their readiness, so they arrive at their exam prepared to do their best.

At Mathnasium of Moncton, we take a long-view approach to exam preparation, focusing on steady math growth rather than cramming before test day.
Every student begins with a diagnostic assessment that helps us identify their current skills and any knowledge gaps. From there, we develop a personalized learning plan that builds math skills consistently, so students aren't starting from scratch before every exam.
Our specially trained tutors work with students across grades 1-12, from elementary math through Precalculus and beyond, reinforcing the concepts they're learning in school, filling in foundational gaps, and developing the problem-solving skills that serve them on quizzes, midterms, and final exams alike.
When a major exam is approaching, we can also focus on the specific topics and concepts it will cover, so students walk in feeling prepared.
Yes! Mathnasium of Moncton prepares students for the math portions of the New Brunswick Provincial Assessments.
Our tutors understand the New Brunswick Mathematics Curriculum the assessments reflect, ensuring students have a solid grasp of the grade-level concepts they'll encounter on test day. We use a diagnostic assessment to identify where each student needs support and build a personalized learning plan that targets the skills they need to meet and exceed grade-level expectations.
The sooner, the better. Because the New Brunswick Provincial Assessments measure the math skills students develop over the course of the school year, consistent preparation throughout the year is far more effective than a rushed approach before the test.
We encourage families to reach out at the start of the school year so we have time to address any foundational gaps and build grade-level skills. Ideally, students start with us at the beginning of the school year or semester. This gives us time to identify and address knowledge gaps, build foundational skills, and ensure steady progress well before test day.
That said, if your student is closer to the exam, we can still make a meaningful difference. Reach out and we'll put together a focused plan based on the time available.
Math test prep at Mathnasium of Moncton is offered as part of a flat monthly membership fee. Pricing depends on your student's individual learning plan and session schedule.
For specific pricing information, please contact our centre directly. We're happy to walk you through the options and find a plan that fits your student's goals and your family's needs.
That depends on your student's starting point, the assessment they're working on, and how much time remains before test day.
After the diagnostic assessment, we'll have a clear picture of what your student needs and can recommend a session schedule that gives them the best chance of success.
Yes. Our specially trained tutors understand the New Brunswick Mathematics Curriculum and the curriculum expectations of local schools throughout Moncton, Riverview, Dieppe, and the surrounding communities.
When it is helpful, we align personalized learning plans with curriculum standards and classroom goals to support both classroom success and exam readiness.
Contact us at [email protected] or call us at (506) 854-9663 to schedule an assessment.
During the assessment, we'll identify your student's current skill level, knowledge gaps, and exam goals, and use those insights to build their personalized learning plan.
Most students begin their test prep sessions within just a few days of their assessment.
