Cassandra
Centre Director
Cassandra is an Ontario Certified Teacher with a BSc in Mathematics for Education and a BEd from York University. Qualified in Intermediate/Senior Mathematics and French, she loves connecting with students, listening to their concerns, and helping them build both math skills and confidence.
Outside of Mathnasium, Cassandra enjoys basketball, swimming, and spending quality time with friends and family. Her favourite number is 17 because it's her lucky number, and her favourite math joke is: “How do numbers celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? By D’ublin’!”
Maria
Assistant Centre Director
Originally from Brazil, Maria earned her Bachelor of Mathematics at a Brazilian university called UNESP and has been teaching math for over 10 years. She believes in meeting students where they are, presenting concepts in a variety of contexts so they can discover connections, see practical applications, and find multiple paths to solutions.
When she is not teaching, she is often found reading, enjoying music, or visiting new and interesting places.
Maria's favourite number is 6.
Her favourite math joke is: "Do you know which tree is the math teacher’s favorite? Geometry!"
Oluwakemi
Lead Instructor & Content Creator
Kemi is a graduate from Humber Polytechnic with a Bachelor of Design. She uses math every day in design, applying it to patterns, symmetry, and precise measurements. Her teaching style is all about simplifying concepts and making math accessible and engaging for students.
Kemi is also a creative spirit, organizing fun events and games at the centre. In her spare time, she enjoys concerts and hanging out with friends.
Her favourite number is 4, and her favourite math joke is: “Why did the two fours skip lunch? Because they already 8!”
Eleni
Math Instructor
Eleni is a graduate from Toronto Metropolitan University, where she studied Finance and Economics. She hopes to become a Financial Analyst and eventually a professor. In her free time, she enjoys reading and playing volleyball—her favourite sport.
Her favourite number is 7 (her birthday is November 7th!), and her go-to math joke is: “Who’s in charge in a pencil case? The ruler!”
Sourena

He likes to represent math problems with pictures for better understanding and enjoys examining problems to see how they can be applied in the real world. Sourena also likes to maximize fun while not compromising learning.
Within the next 3 years, Sourena hopes to start both his master's program and his career. In his free time, he is active playing basketball and going to the gym.
His favourite number is 30 because of Stephen Curry, and his favourite math joke is: “Swimmers love one kind of math more than all others, what is it? Dive-ision!”.
