  • Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-centre math tutoring?

    No, our pricing is the same whether your child attends sessions online, in person, or through a combination of both.

  • Why do you require an assessment for enrolment?

    At Mathnasium of The Glebe, students begin the enrolment process with a diagnostic assessment designed to help us identify their learning style, needs, and goals.   

    Using assessment-based insights, we create a learning plan that will help them truly understand and even start to enjoy math, making meaningful progress at their own pace.

  • How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

    We don't follow a fixed curriculum. At Mathnasium of The Glebe, we use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary approach that combines personalized learning plans with proven instructional techniques to help students truly understand and even enjoy math.  

    Following this approach, our specially trained tutors build on students' existing knowledge, introducing new concepts step-by-step to gradually increase their mathematical thinking, while developing lasting confidence and competence in math. 

  • Do you partner with schools in The Glebe and surrounding areas?

    While not affiliated with school boards, we support students with curriculum-aligned tutoring. We are also happy to support local schools with fundraising initiatives, hosting fun and educational math nights, or in any other way we can contribute to the community. Our Bank Street location makes after-school drop-offs simple, with flexible scheduling to suit your family's routine.

    Yes. During each session, our tutors make time to help students with their homework and ensure they understand the concepts they’re covering in school.

    We do not assign additional homework. Our goal is to make the most of each session, so students can stay focused and engaged while they are with us.

    Yes! Mathnasium of The Glebe helps students get ready for standardized tests such as math portions of EQAO , state, and college admissions exams.
