My daughter has been at Mathnasium for over 3 years now. Although Math has always been challenging for her, her teachers, in various subjects, not just Math, have commented again and again that she has strong problem solving skills and abilities. She will come at a ‘problem’ or situation from a variety of angles and will take the time to work through, using a variety of techniques and strategies. The staff at Mathnasium Kelowna are a terrific support, right from Alana, who leads the team, to others like Lindsay and Nicole. Friendly, professional and effective.

We are thrilled with the positive impact Mathnasium has had on our daughter: she has overcome her anxiety about math, and the subject has become much more manageable for her. We appreciate the program's effectiveness and the support from Alex's team, as they have made learning a more enjoyable experience for our child.

Mathnasium has been a great experience. We are 2 months in and already my daughter has benefitted from the extra help! When my daughter's grade 8 math teacher told us she was on track to attend K & E classes instead of the regular stream and that she would not receive a regular diploma we signed up to Mathnasium. After four years of attending Mathnasium she is now in grade 12, doing regular math class and scoring in the 90s. It feels like a miracle as she almost had a phobia of math when she started the program. She had been shamed and humiliated by teachers in elementary school, so she would shut down when it was time to do math. The flexibility of working on the math program supplied by Mathnasium OR being able to do relevant math homework has worked so well for my daughter. I'm so glad we found Mathnasium in time to turn my daughter's future and options around.

I'm liking the curriculum at Mathnasium for my 7 year old daughter. I like that she can earn prizes and gets a variety of points and spins to celebrate her efforts and progress. We joined Mathnasium after my daughters fell behind in math during Covid. We’ve had private tutoring in the past, we’ve done other tutoring organizations in Newmarket and to be honest, none of them helped her as much as mathnasium. She’s been going for 4 months now 3 times a week and for the first time she’s now coming home with As and Bs. It’s helped her confidence and she’s gaining the skills she needs as she preps for high school. The program works 💯. It’s the best decision we have made for our child and we have no regrets. Our daughter really struggled in math and was dx with an LD years ago and enrolling her in this program has changed her world.
