Q: What helps students in your center stay motivated?
A: Our amazing rewards cabinet!
Q: Tell us about the reward cabinet!
A: We have a little bit of everything a student might enjoy in our rewards cabinet... from candy to gift cards, from Mathnasium swag to giant squish mallows.
Q: How do students earn prizes from the reward cabinet?
A: Students work hard at Mathnasium. They earn stars on a punch card for every page of math they do. Students also earn extra stars when they complete a Mastery Check, work on homework, and participate in calendar activities.
Q: How does your center celebrate student success?
A: When students make a perfect score on a Mastery Check, we mark it with a big red A+! Then we take a picture of the student holding it for our Brag Board. Students who work hard get to put their name in our Mathlete of the Month drawing. They are so proud to display our Student of the Month sign in their yard!
Q: What is your favorite student success story?
A: Each student is a success story when they leave our center with a smile on their face. Our students are at school most of the day and then come to Mathnasium for extra help or enrichment. They come in with a smile, get homework checked, work hard and earn punches. When they feel good about what they've accomplished, then we call that success!
