Financial Literacy Workshops - Last Chance for a Full Week

We’re excited to announce our Financial Literacy Workshops for 2026, designed to equip students with practical money skills they’ll use for life. These engaging, hands-on workshops will cover budgeting, saving, smart spending, and real-world financial decision-making in a fun, age-appropriate way.

Please note: These are workshops, not camp-style programs. Each workshop is focused, instructional, and skill-based. Also we will not be offering these workshops in the fall. We will be offering a Financial Literacy Foundations Course which is for 4th graders and up only. 

Who can attend:

These workshops are open to both current Mathnasium students and non-enrolled students.

• Non-enrolled students must complete an Assessment prior to attending.
  The assessment helps us create a custom financial literacy plan for your child.
• Students who have attended in the past, will pick up where they left off. 
• Minimum enrollment: 6 students

• Maximum enrollment: 10 students

Grades:

• 1 - 12 grades 

Parent Update Requirement:

• New caregiver must come in for a brief update on the last day at pickup.

Drop-Off & Pickup

The workshop begins promptly at 9:00 AM. Our team will be at the center by 8:30 AM for early drop-off—just send us a text, and we’ll meet you at your car for a smooth start. If parking is challenging at pickup, we can also safely bring your student to your car.

What to Expect

Breakfast, lunch, and water are provided.

• Filtered water is available on-site; we recommend a reusable water bottle.

• Please notify us in advance of any food allergies or dietary restrictions. If your student has allergies, please send them with their selective foods. 

• Food is available at the deli next door, and students may choose what they’d like to eat. 

Financial Literacy Workshop Levels
Mathnasium offers three levels of Financial Literacy instruction. Students who attend multiple workshops over the course of the year will continue where they left off. After completing all three levels, students advance to Financial Literacy Foundations Course, deepening their understanding of core financial concepts and real-world applications. The Foundations Course is a cohort.  This is a 10 session course 90 minutes each session with a minimum of two students and maximum of four students per session.

• One day workshop 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  $129 (~$20/hour)

• August 3 – 7 – Summer Workshop Week, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  $599 (~$20/hour)

• August 24 – 28 – Summer Workshop Week, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  $599 (~$20/hour)

• Monday, September 21st One Day Workshop 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  $129 (~$20/hour)

We have two kids who attended the Mathnasium Financial Literacy Summer Workshop in June, and the impact has been incredible.
