Mathnasium of Converse: Staying Consistent in Summer + Building Confidence

May 15, 2026 | Converse

Q1: Why is it important for students to stay consistent with math during the summer?

A1:
Summer provides a great opportunity to keep building math skills that students worked hard to acquire during the school year. Students who continue math over the summer also go in to the new school year feeling more confident and prepared.

Q2: How does your center help students build confidence in math?

A2:
We celebrate progress not perfection! When students believe they can improve and see it for themselves, the pride they feel is palpable.

Q3: What changes do you typically see in students after a few weeks of learning?

A3:
Small wins definitely help build momentum. After a few weeks, we see students willing and able to work more independently, and even start asking questions. We love when students start to realize they know more concepts than they thought.
