Halloween 2024: Mystery Coloring and Graphing Activities!
We’re getting ready for a spooktacular Halloween with some math-y at-home activities!
Does Mathnasium work? We conducted multiple parent surveys and independent studies to find out. And the answer is a resounding YES. Children who consistently attend our learning centers make tremendous strides in comprehension, confidence and grades, and their performance improves on standards-based tests.
Multiple independent studies by Watson Education have shown that Mathnasium improves student performance on standards-based math tests in 20 sessions or fewer.* In other words, student results were significantly better after receiving instruction through Mathnasium.
At Mathnasium, students don’t just learn how to memorize or calculate; they learn to truly understand the way math works. Which is why those who consistently attend our learning centers have greater success in school. As they increase comprehension and build math skills, their excitement and confidence grow, and they strengthen their natural love of learning.
Beyond grades and scores, our goal is to teach children how to think critically, solve problems, and work independently — skills that go beyond the classroom and last a lifetime. We tailor our approach to each student’s unique learning needs, with personalized lesson plans and engaging, face-to-face instruction to support them exactly where they need it most. We know our methods work, and we are always looking for new ways to achieve the goals we set for ourselves and our students.
We always want to know how our students are doing in school and how they’re feeling about math. So our research teams asked parents about the impact Mathnasium has had on their kids and the transformations they’ve seen, and this is what they told us:
“We are thrilled with our son’s progress. No more stress and meltdowns at homework time. He flies through it with full comprehension.”
— Michelle K.
“My son’s confidence in math has skyrocketed.”
— Jessica C.
More than a million parents have trusted Mathnasium since we opened our doors in 2002. But our goal isn’t to be the biggest math education company — just the best.
