So, Sharon Mattox, What is your favorite thing to do in the city where your center is located? A: Greenville has a beautiful park downtown along the Reedy River. I love to walk there and visit the many shops and restaurants.
What is your favorite Mathnasium success story? A: We have a student in our center who recently has brought up their grades at school. This student is feeling so confident and proud of himself. It's a pleasure to see students begin to set the fruit of their work.
Where’s your favorite place to eat? A: My husband and I enjoy ""Smoke on the Water."" Delicious food and a unique atmosphere in downtown Greenville.
What’s your favorite kind of math? A: I'm not sure I have a favorite kind of math, but what I love about math is it's not just about numbers, but more like a puzzle: finding patterns, drawing pictures, making charts... there's just so many ways to SEE the math.
What do you like the most about the Mathnasium Method? A: My favorite part of the Mathnasium Method is teaching in a way the kids understand-- but not only that, also helping kids become aware of their own thinking process. Thinking seems to be a lost art, but we are stirring it up at Mathnasium!
