1. When was your center/re’s grand opening??
A: Our center opened in May of 2019 after a long delay due to renovation requirement, and we were soooo happy to finally open our doors to the community!
2. Of all your employees, who has been with you the longest?
A: Clint has been with our center for almost 4 years, that is the longest of all our instructors. He has tutored students from Grade 1 through Pre-Calculus, and he particularly enjoys teaching the younger students. He loves teaching at Mathnasium because he likes to help kids and see them become confident and successful with math.
3. Who is the owner/director of your center?
A: Our Owner and Center Director, Betty Yiu Au, is the co-founder of this Mathnasium location. As an engineer by trade, she loves to investigate and diagnose the root causes of students' struggles and issues, and to help them out. Her favorite snacks are banana and oranges.
4. What local schools does your center serve?
A: Endeavour Elementary School, Columbia Elementary School, Mukilteo Elementary School, Picnic Point Elementary School, Serene Lake Elementary School, Harbour Pointe Middle School, Mukilteo Elementary School, and Kamiak High School.
5. What are parents saying about your center?
A: "My daughter spent nearly 2 years at Mathnasium of Mukilteo and was able to improve her math scores, showed an increased motivation to complete her homework and most importantly, increased her overall confidence. Betty and all the amazing instructors built wonderful working relationships with my daughter while helping to support her along her math journey. When I asked her what she will miss most about Mathnasium, she said her relationships with the instructors because they made math fun and really cared about helping me."
