Q: With so many tutoring options out there, what do you think makes parents choose Mathnasium?
Parent: We chose Mathnasium because it makes sense that students can't keep learning the math that they are learning at school, unless they understand the foundation prerequisite skills. Mathnasium takes the students as far back as it needs to, in order to address the students' learning gaps to make it easier for them to understand what they are learning at school. Furthermore, the incentive program really helps the students to keep motivated to work hard to learn math!
Q: What makes Mathnasium different from other tutoring options?
Instructor: At Mathnasium, we are a Math-only learning center, where we teach math in a way that makes sense to kids, and we meet students where they need us to meet them at. We teach and interact with the student one-on-one to give them individual attention in a small group setting, where we maintain a very low instructor-to-student ratio (maximum 1:4). We teach using a combination of five modes (mental, visual, verbal, tactile, written) to help students understand math to cater to different learning styles. We have great rewards to incentivize students to keep working hard to learn math. We care about our students and their success!
