So, Betty Yiu Au, What is your favorite thing to do in the city where your center is located? A: Going to the Lighthouse Park and to enjoy the beach with my family.
What is your favorite Mathnasium success story? A: I had a few Grade 8 / Grade 9 students who were tested at Grade 4 math level when they first came to my center. After attending Mathnasium 3 times a week, week over week, for 2 years, these students were able to catch up a few grade levels and manage to score ""A""s in their math courses at school. The most important thing about these students was that Mathnasium helped boost their confidence. At one point they had a lot of self-doubt about their math abilities, but now they feel that they can face the challenges ahead!

What do you like the most about the Mathnasium Method? A: I like the Mathnasium Method for its number sense approach. As an Engineer, I wasn't taught some of those tricks from traditional school and I wasn't guided to think outside of the box. The Mathnasium Method has definitely opened my eyes and made me rethink some of my approaches to solving problems.
