My name is Matt Feldman and I am the Center Director of Mathnasium of North Potomac. I am thrilled to be working with the students and families of the North Potomac community. My passion for mathematics goes back to my 4th grade teacher, Mr. Jennings. He instilled within me, at an early age, that math and fun can go hand in hand. His ability to demonstrate the concepts while allowing his students to enjoy the process has never left my mind. I have eighteen years of classroom teaching experience in Geometry, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. I have also been a basketball coach at various levels for over a quarter century. I have many creative passions that include: photography, gardening and all of our local sports teams. I am a third generation Washingtonian with a long history of love for all things Washington, D.C.

If a student is struggling or simply looking to keep up in their math class, Mathnasium will build upon what they already know, addressing their learning gaps and teaching math in a way that makes sense to them.
Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. Pricing varies by program and geographic area. Contact our center for more details on enrollment packages.

No. All learning occurs under the efficient and effective guidance of our trained instructors. Adding homework would risk frustration and overload. In fact, we'll set aside some time each session to help your student with their school homework.
