What a fantastic day it was for the EHMS Summer Kickoff Party on the second to last day of school! The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) received numerous compliments on this year’s event, and it was heartwarming to see the community come together to celebrate and enjoy the festivities, and we were overjoyed to be part of it.
The event was a resounding success, with over 500 local students and their families in attendance. This year’s turnout was one of the best yet, showing just how beloved this event has become in the Park City community. It's clear that this established local event will only get better each year.
Highlights of the Event:
-
Community and Business Support:
Local businesses played a significant role in making the day special. Booths from Woodward, Prime IV, Athletic Republic, along with our very own Mathnasium of Park City brought interactive and engaging activities for the attendees. Our Mathnasium booth was particularly popular, with four of our wonderful instructors hosting summer math fun for the students.
-
Musical Entertainment:
The event was filled with fantastic music, thanks to performances by the Ecker Hill Middle School Jazz Band and String Band, Park City High School's Pine Tones, and the Rocky Mountain Music Den. Their talent and energy added a vibrant atmosphere to the party.
-
Fun Activities and Treats:
There was no shortage of fun and entertainment! A silent DJ booth kept the tunes flowing without overpowering conversation, while cornhole games provided friendly competition. Families enjoyed a variety of food, drinks, and treats, adding to the festive mood.
The EHMS Summer Kickoff Party truly showcased the spirit of our community. It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and a sense of togetherness. Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and supported this wonderful event, and to the Ecker Hill PTO for including us. We’re already looking forward to making next year’s party even better!
