Q: What was your initial impression of Mathnasium?
A: I was impressed with how warm and inviting the center was. When we walked in, the students were engaged and looked happy. We heard conversations and laughter between the students and their instructors. My child was hesitant about coming in, but left feeling excited to join!
Q: How has Mathnasium changed your child’s experience with math?
A: My child went from being overwhelmed and frustrated in math, to now raising his hand and actually helping other students in his class. It has been such a game changer for his enthusiasm towards math, and his overall confidence!
Q: Has anything surprised you about Mathnasium?
A: My biggest surprise is that my son loves going to Mathnasium! When we originally looked into Mathnasium, he dreaded the idea, and thought that tutoring was for "dummies." He's since realized that is not the case at all. He looks forward to his sessions and always asks when he's going next.
Q: What is your favorite result from Mathnasium?
A: Our daughter came in struggling and hating math. After a year at Mathnasium, she has been placed in the advanced math track in her middle school! We are so happy in the confidence she has gained - in math and in herself, in general. We are seeing that confidence ripple out into other areas of her life!
