Ice Cream Party Recap!

We loved having our students & families in our center for our Mastery Check Ice Cream Party! 🍨 During the months of August and September, we challenge all of our students to collectively complete as many as 150 Mastery checks within the span of 30 days. We arrived at this number by seeing that our average for our center was about 90-100 per month for all the students added up together. So we asked them to stretch their goal and aim for more! So, while they completed mastery checks, students were able to keep track of their progress as a group via a sticker roadmap we had on our wall.

All of our students mastered a lot of mathematical skills while earning their way to different ice cream flavors & toppings! Each time they reached ten mastery checks, they unlocked a flavor or topping for their ice cream party. Overall as a group, they completed a total of 134 Mastery Checks!

At the party, we got to see our mathletes show their parents and guardians how to play some of their favorite math games & puzzles, such as Blink, Rubik's Race, Blokus, and many more!

It was a ton of fun; so thank you to everyone who joined the festivities!
