Called and talked to Patrick to set up a time to talk. Much more friendly than other tutoring places and them doing just math tutoring is exactly what my child needed. She's learning easier than school was and is enjoying math now. All the teachers have been great.

Great staff who genuinely care about the pupils being tutored. I specifically like the one on one time received for my child and he really enjoys every session he attends. I was provided a full syllabus with milestones expected and unlike some other tutoring places I’ve tried which sends home “homework”, everything is done on site during the allocated appointment. The parking situation is… meh… but I cannot nor will not dock points because that seems to be the case in Hawaii overall. Awesome atmosphere, awesome staff. I’m very pleased.

We’ve been consistently going to Mathnasium for 1-1 sessions with Mr. David for nearly three years. Mathnasium South Virginia Beach ROCKS! It's not just for the younger kids building fundamentals- it's also great for the high school and AP kids as well! Our son was enrolled during Algebra 2 Trig and our daughter attends for homework help for AP stats. Last week both of the folks who work on stats with her were out, so Mike arranged for her to skype with John at a different location so she could get the help he needed. It's well managed, it's easy to schedule appointments that around sports and school activities, the atmosphere promotes success, and the kids have fun learning math. Mathnasium is a great investment in your child's education.

Mathnasium is wonderful! The tutors are competent, professional, kind and skilled at working with children. The program is methodical, rigorous but developmentally appropriate for the individual child’s needs, and very family-friendly. Would highly recommend for parents who want their children to have a great foundation in math. We like this better than Kumon because there is more individual instruction and understanding of concepts versus memorization.

We are so thankful for Julia introducing mathnasium to us this summer. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the sessions every week even being remote. All the teachers were engaging and experienced and made math fun. My kids were looking forward to the number of sheets that they can complete during each session.
