Q1: What are some ways your center is helping students prepare for the school year - whether it’s refreshing core skills, boosting confidence, or tackling new grade-level content?
A: Allowing students to request curriculum that they struggled with in their past year(s) in school.
Q2: Can you share a quick success story about a student who feels more ready for school after coming to your center?
A: Several years ago, we had a student that came in for Physics help. We were able to help them get back on their feet, particularly with "AP Physics" and got a passing grade on the AP exam later in the year. So, making them feel comfortable and help to the best of your ability in a way to help students prepare for school.
Q3: What would you tell parents who are worried their child isn’t ready for math this school year?
A: I would tell parents that schools do a few weeks of brushing up on math skills learned in the prior grade. In addition to this, students and parents can request curriculum based on the skill in math the student is working on for them to work on during their session.
