Q: What is the first thing a brand new student does at your center?
A: New students take a comprehensive assessment before enrolling.
Q: What is the comprehensive assessment? How long does it take to finish?
A: The assessments are a mix of verbal and written components. We use the verbal assessment to determine which level math is best for each of our students. Then they take a written assessment. This entire process takes 1-2 hours depending on how hard the student works on the written assessment.
Q: How often should I bring my student to Mathnasium of Surprise?
A: Students should come to Mathnasium at least twice a week to take full advantage of our program.
Q: Who are the people teaching my child?
A: Our instructors are amazing people who love math! They all take an assessment of their own to make sure they can instruct at every level of math. We train everyone in the Mathnasium Method to give all our students the best education. Meet the Surprise instructors on our website!

A: Surprise students earn stamp cards for their hard work. They can exchange these cards for prizes in our cabinet - from candy, toys, to gift cards! Our center also plays a Game of the Month to help students have a fun time while working on their math and logic skills.
