Awesome place and great people. Not only did my son's math skills and grades improve, but he's in love with Math again, thanks to the dedicated, hard-working and amazing team at Mathnasium of Oakville. Every single one of them goes above and beyond to ensure all students are getting the best out of their sessions, while comfortable and happy. To be honest, we feel like they're family, and my son just LOVES going there. Highly recommend this place.

We have had a wonderful experience with Mathnasium. Since joining, my son has gained a great deal of confidence in his math skills and is now able to work through his assignments much more independently. The instructors are supportive, patient, and make learning enjoyable. We have also noticed significant academic growth. He is performing ahead of many children in his age group and approaches new math concepts with confidence and enthusiasm. We are very pleased with the progress he has made and would highly recommend Mathnasium to other families.

My daughter was struggling with math when she started at the Southwood Mathnasium location. It’s not a quick fix it took about a year,but the improvement has been huge. She’s now confident, and math is no longer scary subject. The staff are kind and helpful, and the flexible hours i can drop her starting 3 PM To 7pm work great for us. We’re very happy with the results and excited for her future.

Mathnasium has been a life-changing experience for my children. The staff is kind and helpful; the coaches are highly skilled and friendly; and the environment is very pleasant, safe and sound. The method used by Mathnasium of collecting points is a smart and fun way to encourage the kids to learn. My children, who used to dislike math, became excited to learn about it and their grades improved substantially. I have recommended Mathnasium to my friends and I would to anyone else.

This place runs like a well oiled machine! From the first phone call/assessment to the start of tutoring sessions for my son it was seamless/painless process that went quickly. Clearly a great business model. My son actually enjoys his time here and his math grades are already improving! The director Alana is really warm and welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. Great place. My only regret is not finding this place sooner.

Honestly the best experience I’ve had with a tutor. They create a very warm and welcoming space where you feel comfortable to learn. They also offer up more time out of there day just to help those in need on many occasions. Jay and Susan were both amazing to me. Thank you for everything you guys have done a lot for me.

My daughter has such a positive experience at the Central Whitby Mathnasium Centre. Her performance in math has been strong all year and most importantly, she developed confidence in her ability to learn and master the content. She followed along with the program that was set out for her and also was able to do some review for upcoming tests with the staff. She loved the gamification of the program and the ability to earn stars and prizes; and had a great time at the Pi Day Party. Thank you to Kishon and his team for all of your support. My son started Mathnasium in grade 6. At that time, he was struggling with math's and had little overall academic confidence. He required an IEP and regular assistance from the Resource Teacher. By the end of grade 6, after working with Mathnasium, he was recognized as the Most Academically Improved Student in his grade. Now, 3/4 of the way through grade 7, he is a super confident student, rarely uses his IEP accommodations, never gets assistance from the Resource Teacher and often scores above class average in exams. And that goes for all subjects, not just math's. He was dedicated to his success and Mathnasium helped boost his overall math knowledge and confidence. We can hardly believe the success Mathnasium helped him achieve. Adjacent to academic success, Mathnasium provides our son with opportunities to interact with young adults who are role models for him. His tutors often discuss their university programs with him. My kids are pretty far behind with school and we worried they would feel overwhelmed but the staff at Mathnasium are amazing. My kids look forward to going every week and the progress they started making happened almost instantly! They use great teaching techniques and have amazing communication with parents! We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend it!

My daughter absolutely LOVES mathnasium! The difference, not only in her math skills, but perhaps more importantly her confidence is tremendous. She has found her voice and isn't afraid to use it. The instructors are so friendly and she knows they want her to succeed. She had to leave for a month and commented on how much she missed going. Joey and team are doing a fabulous job. Keep it up!!!

Math has always been my son’s weakest subject — he absolutely hated it. For years, his grades hovered between barely passing and the low 60s. We tried all sorts of home tutors, and while some helped him avoid failing, his marks never really improved. As math got harder from Grade 8 to Grade 9, he stayed stuck in the same range. What made it even more frustrating was that my son often felt he knew the answers, but his test results told a different story. Tutors would say he understood the material and was ready, yet his grades didn’t reflect that. Some didn’t review his homework thoroughly, and a few even left early from sessions. We had always known about Mathnasium, but we hesitated — it cost more, and we worried my son might find it too strict or boring. By the end of Grade 9, with only three weeks left in the school year and his average sitting at 62%, we decided we had nothing to lose. In just those three weeks, Mathnasium helped my son raise his average to 72%. We kept him enrolled over the summer, and now in Grade 10, the change is remarkable. He finds math “quite easy,” has already scored 100% on a test, and feels confident he can keep his grades high. Yes, Mathnasium is more expensive than other options we’ve tried — but it’s worth every penny. Math is such a critical subject for future college, university, and career opportunities, and the results speak for themselves. We only wish we had made the switch sooner.

Enrolled my grade six daughter in this program just over a month ago. Her confidence in math has increased so much in just such a short time. It's easy to get her out the door to get to sessions, and she enjoys that she can access help from any team member during a session. We get great updates by email after each session so we can continue to check in at home as she progresses through home work.

Mathnasium Maple Ridge was a great experience for my son! He never complained about going and enjoyed working with all the tutors. He was motivated and felt like the material was explained well.
