The Math Behind Origami

Jun 22, 2022 | Saskatoon

There's a good reason why we do some origami at our Summer STEM Camps. Origami has helped scientists study proteins in the human body - they fold spontaneously based on a series of codes in the amino acids, which are akin to the crease patterns & folds of origami. Or, in the case of this video, ensure that the design will fold flat.
