The story of Mathnasium Saskatoon

1. When was your centre’s grand opening?

A: During the warm month of June 2016, we celebrated our Grand Opening! We were so glad when students decided to join us for summer math fun!

2. Of all your employees, who has been with you the longest?

A: Megan and a few of our instructors have all been with our centre since 2018 - that's a long time!  They have impacted literally hundreds of students so far, who LOVE their enthusiasm and fun spirit! We also have a few instructors who were students with us back in 2017 - we love that they know our systems inside & out.

Megan began teaching, then helped establish & test our Online Program in January 2020 (that was BEFORE covid!) she has been our Centre Director since fall 2019.

3. Who arethe owners/directors of your centre?

A: Our Owners are Nathan & Leah - they were here every day running things prior to 2020 but have transitioned to more of the behind-the-scenes business stuff, while Megan takes care of the every-day in the centre.

Megan & Nathan both went through the engineering program at the University of Saskatchewan, and love to share their love of math application with the students.

4. What local schools does your centre serve?

A: As a large centre (and the only one in Saskatoon)  we serve a lot of schools, including students who commute or do online from Warman & Martensville. Our nearest schools include: Forest Grove, Sutherland, St. Augustine, John G. Egnatoff, Greystone, Bishop Filevich, St. Joes, Evan Hardy, etc ... and we are glad to work with students from all over Saskatoon & Saskatchewan.

 
5. What are parents saying about your centre?

A: We are so thankful to have so many parents vocally supporting us with word-of-mouth, and who still call to give us updates on former students :) We love hearing from our parents!
